Saturday the 19th of March was planned to spend the day doing nothing but Uni work. It turned out quite differently. I got a message from a friend who had ordered a bunch of tickets for the YouTube Orchestra Symphony an had some spares. I decided an adventure to the Opera House.. Seeing a concert inside the Opera House.. Why not?? The tickets were max 25 bucks.. It’s a good opportunity!
We got there and the group was split up into two and a was in the ones who sat way in the back.. Kinda bummed we were so far, but as soon as the show started I figured out that there really isn’t a bad seat in the concert hall. The people in the front were up close and personal with the orchestra, where I got a general view of the show.
The projections onto the sides of the walls that went in time to the music were amazing. They had talented musicians from all over the world and I was simply floored by the talent and the incorporation of the music and the digital paintings. The show that was played on Sunday night was shown live in youtube, and here is the link to the youtube channel:
Half of the group stayed for dinner in The Rocks, Pancakes in the Rocks!! it was so delish!! So much good food. Oh how I love breakfast for dinner :)
We were on our way to the bus and we decided to stop to take some fantastic long-exposure photos of the opera house. While we were taking photos we noticed that there was something being set up right by us, so I went to ask the guys what they were setting up for. Apparently some of the guys from the orchestra were playing their instruments and a guy who was painting the outside of the orchestra with some digital art. Seriously awesome stuff.
